In the New York City subway system, there are currently 468 stations in operation.
Dancers of all ages, all levels, and all aspirations take the train everyday from these stations. Some dancers head to their Broadway theaters. Some dancers head to the early-morning auditions for the chance to land their dream role. Some dancers head to the dance studios to hone their craft.
While all dancers start their day from stations all over the city, their destination is always the same: any place where they can dance.
Dancers of New York is a project created by that showcases the community of dancers in New York City by featuring a dancer at every subway stop in NYC.
